Ulrich's Tavern, Founded in 1868

Ulrich's Tavern at 674 Ellicott Street in Buffalo, NY is one of the oldest continuously operating taverns in Western New York.


Since 1868, when it began operating as a "grocery-saloon," Ulrich's has been serving fine food and drink to patrons from around Western New York.


Today this tradition continues under the management of Jim and Erika Daley along with their son, Jim "Coach" Daley Jr.


We bring this site to you so we can share the rich history of this neighborhood institution and offer a "window into the past," illustrating the tavern atmosphere of a bygone era.
